森のこみち 360本のポプラの木と24枚のラーチ板
森の中を散歩するように北欧の家具、ショップ、カフェを巡る場の体験。
福岡市のアイランドシティにあるデザインセンターで開催された、九州発 北欧展 2013 福岡会場の計画。170㎡の空間に、 森のこみち と 森のステージ を挿入するだけのシンプルな操作によって、流れるような展示空間を生み出した。
65mの長さを持つ、折れ線状の 森のこみち は27mm × 45mm × 2,700mmのポプラLVL材360本で、森のステージ は、910mm × 1,820mm × 12mmのラーチ合板24枚で構成することによって、ローコストで質素ながらも豊かな空間を実現している。
使用された材料は、北欧展の展示期間終了後、廃棄されることなく再利用できる様に計画されている。
A forest path of 360 poplar trees and 24 larch boards
An experience visiting Nordic furniture, shops, and cafes, just like walking in a forest.
A plan for the 2013 Fukuoka venue in the Nordic Exhibition in Kyushu held at the Design Center in Island City, Fukuoka.
We created a flowing exhibition space by simply inserting a Forest Path and a Forest Stage into a 170㎡space.
The Forest Path made with a polyline with a length of about 65m is constructed of 360 pieces of Poplar LVL material 27mm × 45mm × 2,700mm in size, and the Forest Stage consists of 24 pieces of larch plywood measuring 910mm x 1,820mm x 12mm. It is low-cost and simple but a rich space has been realized.
The materials used for this display are planned to be dismantled after the exhibition period of the Nordic Exhibition and are to be reused without being discarded.
